OmniCloud

A multi-cloud console for iPhone and iPad. See and manage the servers in your own Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud and Hetzner Cloud accounts in one place.

Local-first by design. OmniCloud has no account system and runs no servers of its own. The app talks directly from your device to each cloud provider. Credentials are kept only in your device’s Keychain, and resource data is cached only on your device.

One view of every cloud

Instances, networks, firewalls and volumes from several providers and accounts, with their real regions and states.

Everyday operations

Start, stop, restart, resize and delete instances, change public addresses, and edit firewall rules and subnets.

Create servers

Choose a zone, machine type, image and disk, compare prices across regions, and create an instance in a few taps.

Cost at a glance

Month-to-date estimates from each provider’s published list prices, so you can see what is running and what it costs.

Connecting Google Cloud

When you choose Sign in with Google, OmniCloud opens Google’s own sign-in page in the system browser sheet and asks for permission to manage your Google Cloud resources (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform). OmniCloud never sees your Google password.

After you pick one of your projects, the app prepares it so it can manage Compute Engine on your behalf:

  1. Enables the Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Resource Manager and Cloud Billing (price catalog) APIs in that project.
  2. Creates a service account named omnicloud-ios in that project.
  3. Grants it the Compute Admin and Service Account User roles on that project only.
  4. Creates a key for that service account and stores it in your device’s Keychain.

If your organization does not allow service account keys, the app instead keeps your Google sign-in token in the Keychain and acts with your own permissions. You can revoke access at any time; see the Privacy Policy.

You can also connect a project by importing a service account key file that you created yourself.
